Mouse and mice problem, rodent removal
When you think of rats and mice, you need to think of Altoona Pest Control. No matter what pest you have on your hands, you can rest easy knowing we have dealt with it before. Since we've been doing this for generations, chances are we have handled situations similar to yours.

Rats and mice should be controlled as soon as possible. Either can sneak into small cracks, crevices, hollows or holes and cause a lot of damage to your home or office. Rats and mice love to chew! They will chew off scraps and pieces of a variety of materials and will make their nest with these scraps. Their nests appear to be a ball of these scrap material, so if you see this it's usually a good sign you have some sort of rodent.

Mice are much more common, but an easy way to identify the difference between a mouse and a rat is the physical size. A rat generally has a heavier body with a blunt nose, greyish-brown in color, and can be 7-10 inches in size. A mouse is generally much smaller and not as full through the body. They both leave droppings that can help in identifying them. Regardless, should you find any nests or droppings, it's time to call Altoona Pest Control. And call us ASAP, please do not wait for the situation to get worse.

Many people choose to handle mice using mouse traps or poison, but should you want to take a hands-off approach, please just give us a call. We can assist you in identifying your rodent, evicting, and preventing them from getting into your home, office, garage, or other exterior buildings.
